Earth Renewable Technologies, Inc. was born from a research cooperative between Clemson University’s Public Service and Agriculture Department, and Clemson’s Institute for Nutraceutical Research (INR) to develop an all-natural, renewable packaging solution for the natural products industry.

Our research team is led by Dr. Dan Roberts, a pioneering and visionary developer of 100% natural bio-polymer composites.  Together with Dr. David Gangemi and the National Nutraceutical Center at Clemson, Dr. Roberts accepted the design challenge from Gaia Herbs to manufacture a cost-effective, all-natural plant-based plastic bottle that meets or exceeds the performance levels of petroleum-based PET and HDPE bottles.
